NU'EST's JR tries edible insects on 'For the First Time Ever'!

On May 4, Channel E dropped a preview video for the next episode of 'For The First Time Ever', featuring JR, Niel, Kangnam, and more! As a sneak peak, JR was caught sampling edible insects in a lab, a type of food now widely regarded as 'the food of the future'. The idol star seemed hesitant at first, but soon went straight for the insect without hesitation.
Since the bugs were dried, Lee Soo Geun also commented that they actually tasted like stir-fried anchovies but "three times better". Although the rest of the cast members like Kangnam were skeptical at first, they ended up enjoying the 'snack' in the end, after a few seconds of pensive chewing.
On the other hand, Niel and model Han Hyun Min were caught preparing fresh fish in the woods with Kang Ho Dong! Make sure to tune into the full episode on May 5 at 7:30 PM KST on Channel E!
