On January 31, the Singapore Police Force posted a notice on its official Facebook page. The post informed about the recent arrest of women aged 20 and 23 for misuse of boarding passes. It stated, "Investigations revealed that the 20-year-old had bought an air ticket to meet a Korean boy band."
The boy band is suspected to be Super Junior, who have left Singapore on January 31 after completing 'Super Show 7'.
Singapore Police Force emphasized the misuse of boarding passes is illegal and warned citizens, stating, "Those who misuse their boarding pass to enter into the transit areas, with no intention to proceed to their next destinations, are liable for an offence under the Protected Areas and Protected Places Act. The offender may be prosecuted in Court and shall be liable on conviction to a fine of $1,000 or to imprisonment for a term of 2 years or to both."
