Actress Park Jin Hee's label Elephant Entertainment addressed concerns about her recent decision to replace Go Hyun Jung's spot in SBS drama 'Return', due to Park Jin Hee's current pregnancy.
The actress's official decision was announced on February 13. It turns out, the actress was asked to begin filming on this same day. She will be making a brief appearance on episode 16 of 'Return' airing later on February 14, due to the drama's "conclusion that the viewers' anger toward the controversy will simmer down if she appears while the situation is still a debated topic."
The label also revealed that previous reports before February 8 (a day after the initial Go Hyun Jung incident), claiming that Park Jin Hee was a likely replacement for Go Hyun Jung, were false. Park Jin Hee's side was only contacted on February 8, and ultimately did not arrive at a complete decision until February 12. On concerns about Park Jin Hee's pregnancy, the label said, "Once you receive an offer and tell them that you will consider it, you have to put your all into filming. The label may have had a say, but this decision was mostly on Park Jin Hee's part. The label's stance is that Park Jin Hee can only do her best, since the drama cannot come to a stop now."
Park Jin Hee is currently 5 months pregnant with her second child.
