Online survey company PMI held the special survey via '#1 survey platform Tillion'. A total of 5,000 netizens in their 20's to 50's voted for the hottest idol group of the second half of 2017.
Out of all, the group to take 1st place was BTS with 37% of the votes. The boy group by Big Hit Entertainment had a stellar year with the success of the album 'Love Yourself: Her' and title track "DNA". BTS also proudly represented Korea overseas by attending various music awards in the United States and guesting on top American talk shows.

Following BTS in 2nd place WAS TWICE with 24.7% of the votes. The girl group by JYP Entertainment continuously released hits including "Signal", "Likey", "Heart Shaker", and more.
Next in 3rd place CAME Wanna One with 24.5% of the votes. The super rookies gained tremendous attention from 'Produce 101' season 2 and established themselves as one of the top boy groups of 2017 with their catchy tracks and strong fandom.
In 4th place came Red Velvet (11.0%), 5th place, EXO (9.7%), 6th place, MAMAMOO (9.3%), and 7th place, G-Friend (8.4%).
