According to an exclusive report by YTN on October 17, Taeyang will be performing his solo song specially made for the Olympic games on stage for the very first time. This will take place on November 1 at the Olympic torch relay opening ceremony in Incheon's Moonlight Park in Songdo.
Prior to this, Taeyang attended the appointment ceremony back in June, where he mentioned, "Through various performances overseas, everyone was able to reunite as one thanks to music, despite our cultural differences and language barriers. I hope that many people can share their hopes and dreams in light of the '2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.'"
November 1 will mark the first official ceremony leading up to the 2018 winter games. Torchbearers will go around 17 cities across South Korea for a duration of 101 days leading up to the official opening ceremony.
Meanwhile, the '2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics' will take place from February 9-25 next year in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province. A total of 2,900 athletes from 95 countries will be participating in this global competition.
