On October 18, reports stated Bora is joining the cast of 'Hwayugi' along with her new labelmate Lee Seung Gi. The production will be Bora's first acting gig since leaving SISTAR and Starship Entertainment. 

In response to the reports, Bora's new label Hook Entertainment revealed, "Bora has been given an offer for 'Hwayugi' and it's under discussion. Nothing specific is yet confirmed."

Meanwhile, previous reports stated that Lee Seung Gi is playing the lead in the new drama after he gets discharged from the military. As for his plans for 'Hwayugi', Hook Entertainment stated, "Lee Seung Gi is also not confirmed for 'Hwayugi' yet. It's first and foremost to complete the nation's duty. We will announce his decision for the drama after he gets discharged."

'Hwayugi' is described as a romance fantasy historical drama. Stay tuned for updates.
