On September 13, the cast and staff of new JTBC pilot variety program 'Buying Hardships' attended its press conference, just ahead of the program's premiere!
'Buying Hardships' is a new type of travel reality series where celebrities must sell their personal belongings in order to fund their group trip to a foreign country. For the pilot season, celebrities including g.o.d's Park Joon Hyung, JungGiGo, Soyu, Girl's Day's Sojin, and NU'EST's Ren headed off to Belgium for 6 nights and 7 days.
During the press conference, oldest member Park Joon Hyung revealed that this trip was "more difficult than 'Laws of the Jungle'. We not only had to sleep in the streets, but we were also subject to racism."
Afterward, when asked to make a promise for if viewership ratings surpass 5%, maknae NU'EST's Ren said, "We will go back to Belgium with this exact same lineup." But this promise caused the rest of the cast members to gawk in horror! JungGiGo tried to cover up Ren's words by claiming that the maknae didn't know what he was talking about, while Soyu tried to adjust the rating scale to 10%!
JTBC's 'Buying Hardships' will premiere through mobile platform 'Oksusu' on September 14 at 10PM KST first, before being broadcast through JTBC2.
