Rain to host 'idol rebooting project' 'The Unit'

Singer Rain has been named the host of KBS' upcoming 'idol rebooting project' 'The Unit'.

On August 2, broadcast insiders revealed Rain will be taking the reins as the MC of the reality series. 'The Unit' will recruit current idols and reform them into brand new units.

This will also mark Rain's first return to broadcasts following his marriage to actress Kim Tae Heethis past January.

'The Unit' is expected to air in October.
