In light of his latest drama 'The Weird Father' coming to an end, Lee Joon held an interview to discuss his upcoming military enlistment, his acting, and more.

Lee Joon, who personally announced to fans via SNS that he would be enlisting in the military this coming October 24, said, "I actually have friends who have already finished up basic training. They tease me, saying, 'It's really hard.' But for me, if I go, then I go. Any Korean citizen goes through it. The only thing is that the people I will be will be younger than me, so I'm nervous about if I'll be able to get along with them. I'm not worried about anything else."

What about the almost 2 years away from the entertainment industry? Lee Joon answered, "I'm not worried about that time off. It's not even a full 2 years. In the past, I worried about my future a lot. But if I come back from the military and I can't promote, then I can just find another career path. Turns out, it's more comfortable to think about it coolly. I do want to act, but if no one is looking for me, than I need to find another means of living. I'm not worried about it."

The idol-turned-actor also revealed that veteran actors Ryu Seung Yong, Yoo Joon Sang, and Kim Young Chul promised to visit him in the military.
