In light of Brave Entertainment's Samuel Kim debuting real soon, producer Brave Brothers sat down for an interview about his prized trainee.
During his interview, Brave Brothers revealed, "Samuel is upset about not being a part of Wanna One, but he tries not to show it. I heard this from his mother, but at home, she said he locked himself up in the bathroom, turned on the sink faucet, and cried a lot. After I heard that from her, I cried too. I felt upset for him, but there was nothing I could do. I couldn't sleep a wink, my tears just wouldn't stop. He may be young, but he's mature. Because he thinks of the people around him, he never shows that he's tired."
About Samuel's debut mini album, Brave Brothers said, "We've been preparing this album for the past 2 years. We didn't want to rush after the stardom of 'Produce 101'. But thankfully, because we had a lot built up already, we were able to take advantage of timing." Brave Brothers also proudly revealed, "You'll be able to picture Pop star Chris Brown's debut through Samuel's debut."
Samuel Kim's debut mini album 'Sixteen' will be out this August 2 at 4PM KST, after which the singer will kick off various debut promotions. Best of luck, Samuel!
