On July 7 at Seoul's Universal Arts Center, the final round of the '2017 Miss Korea' beauty pageant crowned its winner!
The title of 'Miss Korea 2017' went to Seo Jae Won, a 21-year old from the Gyeongi province. In 2nd place came Jung Da Hye (21, Seoul) and Lee Han Na (20, Philippines), while four other contestants took 3rd place.
The pageant was MC-ed by Tony An and former 'Miss Korea' and actress Oh Hyun Kyung. This year marks the 61st year of the '2017 Miss Korea' pageant, with 51 contestants competing in round one, then narrowed down to 33 for the final round.
'Miss Korea 2017' Seo Jae Won has a degree in Korean ballet from the Korea National University of Arts. She is 175.2cm and 54 kgs, and hopes to become a professional ballerina.
