The singer opened up about her earlier days with '90s co-ed group S#arp, saying, "Though we finally reconciled in the midst of the hardships, I honestly thought about whether it was okay to continue to talk negatively about the group, so I became very cautious. It's still difficult."
She then added, "S#arp will always be a part of me, and something I won't be able to let go easily. Just listening to S#arp's nostalgic songs make me feel happy. I feel like it may have been the happiest moment of my life."
When asked who were the top live female singers at the time, Lee Ji Hye answered, "Fin.K.L's Ock Joo Hyun and S.E.S's Bada were the best at singing live. I might have been in 4th or 5th."

Lee Ji Hye also hinted at her best friend and singer Baek Ji Young's return. "It hasn't been long since she gave birth, but it seemed like she really wanted to return to the spotlight. I think she will be making a comeback soon."
Onto her marriage news, the singer commented, "My husband-to-be is a regular office worker... I thought about marrying him at first sight (smile). I don't consider outer appearance as much, but the heart."
