YG Entertainment is expanding their range into TV show productions.
On January 19, Yang Hyun Suk sat down for an exclusive interview with Yonhap News and revealed details on his new plans.
Regarding the recent rumors about 10 PDs signing with YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun Suk stated, "50% [of the PDs named] are true but there are other PDs who have not been revealed. He also shared the reason why he plans to start making TV content. Yang Hyun Suk explained, "I want to do things that are fun. Not just going on programs, but if we have a fun idea then we can definitely develop content, just like we develop a singer. For example, viewers tend to favor scriptwriters Kim Eun Sook and Park Ji Eun's dramas nowadays. It doesn't matter which broadcast station it's' on. People just follow fun content. In addition, there are a lot of celebrities under YG so they'll be able to create synergy with the programs."
