The movie is about a teacher at a boys' high school, who ends up becoming entangled in greed, jealousy, and envy involving another teacher and a male student. In a recent interview, Kim Ha Neul was asked about the original movie scenario having a longer, more detailed bed scene. She answered honestly, "I did hope that it didn't come across negatively." 

She continued, "In the film, it's not depicted very negatively, and I think it did a good job of doing that. I wanted to make that clear to the director too. I thought that there was a message that needed to be conveyed through this film, which was why I chose it. But if that [bed] scene came across negatively, I thought the movie would flow in a different direction. Even now, as I'm promoting it, it seems like people still see it in that [negative] way. But when I read the script, I didn't think of it that way, and the director followed my thoughts too."
