Agency SM Entertainment updated on Ryeowook's status in the military.

On December 1, a rep stated that that Ryeowook, who entered the 37th Division's recruit training center in Chungcheongbuk-do on October 11, has completed five weeks of basic military training and has been assigned to an army unit, the military band of the 37th Division. Looks like he can continue practicing music for his military enlistment!
He will be discharged on July 10, 2018.
