On January 31 KST, Sera of the 2nd generation girl group Nine Muses delivered happy news via her Instagram. 

The singer relayed, 

"Hello, it's Ryu Sera.

First and foremost, I would like to thank those of you who cheered me on from my debut until now, watching over me during my highs and lows. After much thought, I have decided to share this news publicly. 

I am getting married. My fiancé is a non-celebrity, so I was concerned that excessive attention may overwhelm him.

While I was someone who originally thought that marriage had nothing to do with me, when I realized that what I wanted for myself was to 'become a more mature person', I arrived at this decision naturally.

I suspect that more people will be happy for me than feel shocked at the news. I would like to take this opportunity to thank those of you who gave me the strength to go on when I was so insecure and lacking.

Along with marriage, I have many plans for this year. All I ask if that you watch over me as I take on new challenges for the healthy growth and development of the entertainment industry. I will lead a sincere and courageous life.

Ryu Sera debuted as a member of Nine Muses in August of 2010, carrying out promotions with the group for approximately 4 years. Since then, she has continued her music career as a solo artist and a songwriter.
