Presidential spokesperson Jung Youn Kuk said during a briefing on November 15, "Taking the situation gravely, the President is seeking all means to address the current political turmoil."
However, while the words seem to suggest the President wants to cooperate with the impending prosecution questioning, her lawyer requested a delay of the questioning, angering the public further.
President Park's lawyer Yoo Yoeong Ha also asked prosecutors for a questionnaire interview for the President rather than a traditional face-to-face interview. The Seoul Central Distract Prosecutor's Office announced that they will question her in person, although the postponing for the questioning was accepted.
With the President's approval rate below 10%, citizens continue to rally to voice their demand for her to step down from power. Following last weekend's protest that gathered 1 million protesters, another rally is scheduled this Saturday.
