Actor Kwak Dong Yeon, who played Kim Byung Yeon in recently ended KBS drama 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds', shared the behind-the-scenes story of his death scene to Star News.
In the drama, Kwak Dong Yeon faced a tragic death while trying to protect Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung. Thinking back to this sad scene, Kwak Dong Yeon said, "It was sad to think that death was the only way for me to protect the hope of my life and the love of my hope. I cried my eyes out when filming my death scene."

Kwak Dong Yeon continued, "The director insisted that I don't cry too much. So I cried a lot before filming and held back the tears when filming started. It was the scene of me dying and also a turning point to Lee Young (Park Bo Gum), so we filmed it for hours. Park Bo Gum and I held each other's hand and cried. We were okay in the beginning, but when I collapsed after getting a sword through my body, we told each other to stop crying, but couldn't help the tears."
The last scene of Kwak Dong Yeon and Park Bo Gum must've been very sad even for the actors themselves. Watch this scene again in the clip above.
