Winter may be cold, but Korea University will be the hotspot with its First International Winter Campus!

2016 Korea University International Summer Campus just topped off one of its most successful seasons yet with the highest number of enrolled students for the program since 2004. You had some options to choose which summer program in Korea you wanted to take, and it seems like many of you liked Korea University over the others. 1,850 students from 40 different countries proved that KU is the best-renowned summer program in Korea globally. With that successful record, KU is looking forward to facing another historic event soon. Are you curious about what's their plan? A drumming sound will be appreciated before this big announcement! Well, the big news is, for the first time ever in the history of KU's international program, Korea University will be hosting their International Winter Campus!

2016 KU IWC will embrace a global student body by offering the program for both international students and domestic Korean students. Every student achieves academic credits through session 1 and / or session 2 (each session is composed of 3 weeks). If you are going to take session 2 only, you will get a maximum of 5 credits (taking session 1 only will give a maximum of 4 credits). If you are going to take both sessions 1 & 2, you will be able to earn a maximum of 9 credits. Along with the academic opportunities, like the KU Summer program, there will be plenty of opportunities to attend fabulous events such as a trip to Gyeongbok Palace, Dongdaemoon DDP, and more. KU IWC also will provide chances to experience Korean culture outside of the classroom including a fun ski trip as a seasonal activity. KU IWC will provide not only those one-day field trips but also general education classes such as Korean language classes and Taekwondo classes in order to deepen your understanding of Korea. Korea University International Winter Campus will be best suited for everyone who wanted to take the summer program but did not have the time to participate. It's also a good opportunity for people who have already experienced Korea during the summer but will now get to see a different perspective of Korea (Instead of hot weather, a more cool and snowy one). Therefore, why don't you consider going to Korea as part of your plans during winter break?
