While in the first season, the show brought together grandma contestants to compete against one another in rap battles, the upgraded, brand new second season will take on a 'Game of Thrones' theme. 15 of the hottest names in hip-hop have gathered to form 5 different teams, who will compete in hip-hop survival battles by selecting competitors from a pool of 50 consisting of comedians, models, musical actors, and more. 

Team 1 consists of MC Sniper, MONSTA X's Jooheon, and DinDin, while Basick, Microdot, and Joosuc form team 2. Team 3 is an all-female team with Cheetah, EXID's LE, and FIESTAR's Yezi, while Team 4 consists of Brand New Music's P-Type, Minos, and Phantom's Hanhae. Team 5 makes up Hi-Lite's PALOALTO, Reddy, and G2.
