Jang Woo Hyuk guested on the August 11 airing of 'Kim Shin Young's Noon Song of Hope,' for the radio show's 'Reply H.O.T' special.
DJ Kim Shin Young, who revealed that she's been a longtime fan of Jang Woo Hyuk, brought up some of the concerns of fans when news first broke that he will be appearing on 'I Live Alone.' She commented at the former idol, "Fans were really worried when they heard you'll be going on 'I Live Alone.' They wondered what if you don't say anything or don't move at all?"

Jang Wook Hyuk addressed these concerns, confessing, "As I grew older, I wanted to shake off the image that stuck with me. I felt that 'I Live Alone' was a good opportunity for me to [shed my old image]."
DJ Kim Shin Young complimented, "You've really displayed your knack at variety. I even saw articles that you permanently joined 'I Live Alone.'" However, Jang Woo Hyuk denied these rumors, replying, "I never directly heard that I became a fixed member. It's important that I hear it for myself."
