Moranbong performed a show in North Korea's capital Pyongyang, just a couple days following the 7th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) which began on May 6 and ended on May 9.

Dressed in matching military-style uniforms of white blazers and knee-length skirts, Moranbong put on a celebratory performance for the recent 7th Congress of the WPK. Rodong Sinmun reported that the chairman Kim Jong Un was not present for this celebration.
Cheongbong Band, the North Korea's newer girl group which was formed last year, was also present at this event and put on a joint performance with Moranbong.
