The four women involved in the recent prostitution scandal have been summarily fined.
According to reports, Judge Ha Tae Han of the Seoul Central District Court ordered the four female celebrities to pay 2 million Won (~$1725 USD) each, while the two businessman linked with the prostitution were given a court-ordered fine of 3 million Won (~$2585 USD) each.
The celebrities fined include the famous singer and former girl group member mentioned in previous reports. The singer in question is said to have gone to the States in April of last year where she engaged in sexual relations with a businessman in exchange for 35 million KRW (~$30,000 USD). A portion of the payment was given to Mr. Kang (41), who arranged the meeting between the celebrity and the businessman.
