Neoz School member Chani, who recently garnered much attention for his stellar acting in the tvN drama 'Signal', sat down for an interview where he revealed his personal thoughts on being a part of Neoz School's competitive system.
When asked about taking on both acting and becoming a member of an idol group as a future career path, Chani relayed, "I do think it's not easy, going down both paths at once. I do get overwhelmed. There are some people my age who focus on just acting, and some who strive toward their dream of becoming a singer. Because I have to work on doing both at the same time, in some aspects, I do fall behind. But because it's what I chose, I'm working with the mindset that I may be late, but I'm consistent."
He also added, "Even if I don't make it into the final group for debut, I won't regret anything. It's true that because it's an idol group in the making, you have to build up your singing and dancing skills more than acting. But I'm trying not to worry too much, and just focus on going forward. There are a lot of hyungs in Neoz School who are more skilled and appealing than me. You can see it as a competitive system, but we try not to look at it that way. We do hold onto that little hope that all 9 of us can do well, and all 9 of us can debut together."
What do you think of Neoz School's system, and who do you want to see make it to debut?
