For whoever has watched the rom com 'My Sassy Girl' starring Cha Tae Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun and loved it, I've got some news that may pleasantly surprise you!

The movie, which was a box office hit when it was first released back in 2001 and is considered a comedy classic, will come to the small screen in the form of a drama remake. 

Raemongraein, the company that will be in charge of the film's production, relayed on Friday, "Romantic comedy movie 'My Sassy Girl' will be remade into a drama." 

Though it has yet to be revealed who will be starring in the remake, the production crew aims to release the drama within this year and enter filming for it soon.
