A recent episode of SBS's 'Animal Farm' shared the sad tale of a dog named Mong Yi and his love life, or lack thereof.
The episode had introduced Mong Yi as a loyal, and devoted partner to a dog named Blackie, who suddenly disappeared one day. The production crew had initially believed that Mong Yi was desperately awaiting his lover's return, as he would continuously engage in bewildering, fruitless attempts of chasing cars.
Residents of the area speculated that Mong Yi was risking his life in this dangerous manner because he believed Blackie was either hit by a car or taken by someone in a car.
But the production crew and residents couldn't be any further from the truth. In fact, Mong Yi had already forgotten about Blackie and moved on. He was seen frequenting a mechanic shop to woo another female dog named Jin Soon. Alas, Jin Soon showed not an inkling of interest whatsoever in Mong Yi, as she already has a family of her own.
Poor Mong Yi was kicked to the curb and he hasn't realized it yet...or he's just really persistent. Let's hope Mong Yi finds the 'one' soon!
