Kwak Si Yang took his onscreen wife to a romantic Italian restaurant, but he presented a traditional Korean style meal he cooked himself. Not only did he prepare seaweed soup, which is usually eaten on birthdays, he also cooked a number of other side dishes.

Kim So Yeon was incredibly touched, crying when she saw the table. Kwak Si Yang said, "I made it today. It was a lie that I had a drama filming." It was revealed in a self-cam that he woke up at 4 in the morning just to get ready for Kim So Yeon's birthday.

She expressed, "Why did you do this? You had to wake up early in the morning." Kim So Yeon also shared during her solo interview, "I didn't know what to do after I found out he made it himself. Everything built up, and I was incredibly touched."
