Former Hello Venus member Ara had acted before, but web drama 'Alchemist' will be her first project since leaving the group.  She talked about this on October 1 at the press conference for the series.

"This is my first production since leaving Hello Venus, so I felt a great burden," she said, "but I had filming with diligence, so I hope that you would have a lot of interest in it."

It was also revealed that she cried after wrapping up filming.  She explained, "I didn't cry because I was sad about separating from Youngji.  It was sad saying goodbye to Youngji, too, but it had been a long time since I was in a production, and the atmosphere on set was enjoyable, so when I thought about how I would feel after going back home, I got sad. They were tears of happiness and sadness."
