Netizens are up in arms over a shocking case of starvation and animal abuse. 

On June 29, web users were horrified when two photos of clearly starving and abused dogs were uploaded. Captioned "Woman starves dog for weeks and gives it makgeolli one day a week," these photos revealed a woman who would starve her two dogs for weeks. The only real form of sustenance she provided these dogs with was one weekly serving of makgeolli, a Korean rice wine. 

In one photo, both animals' ribs are clearly visible while another photo shows the white dog vomiting profusely. 

In just one hour after these uploads, the photos had spread rapidly throughout the Internet community. In addition to sharing these photos and the tragic story of the heartless owner, web users wrote posts accusing the woman of animal abuse on the homepage of the Korea Animal Protection Society. 

Netizens have reacted quickly, commenting, "The fact that she was born as a human is a disaster for humanity," "I can only curse at this," and "Why would you own a dog if you raised it like this?"
