The photo seen above is a compilation of the alleged 'evidence' of the two idols being a couple. Fans pointed out the ring spotted on Jiyeon's finger and Changjo's finger are the same and that the backgrounds even match up. The second set of photos also show the two being at the same cafe. Although the cafe photos could be instantly dismissed, as it may just a popular hangout spot for idols, fans said the hashtags that the two idols used in their respective Instagram posts were very similar. Changjo had hashtagged "#noonnoonana", while Jiyeon had written "Nyeunnoonanna" on hers.
TOP Media responded, "After we confirmed with Changjo, we have found out that the rumors are false. We're not sure why such rumors even came about in the first place... They are just simply internet rumors."
A source close to Jiyeon was also asked about the rumors, and the source replied, "I can't get into contact with Jiyeon right now, but since trainee days Jiyeon has been friends with TEEN TOP. So she and the members probably met up a few times sometimes while they were promoting. However, I can't currently confirm with her about the dating rumors."
The two idols have also made their Instagram pages private with the issue blowing up. Are fans over-analyzing as usual or do you think their speculations are valid?
