According to entertainment insiders in an exclusive by OhmyNews, Ryu Hyun Jin will meet Song Il Kook and his triplets for a filming of KBS 2TV's 'Superman is Back' next week. Ryu Hyun Jin, who has normally been a fan of the show, was asked by the producer to make an appearance to which the baseball player readily accepted. It turns out that Ryu Hyun Jin and his mother live in the same apartment complex as Song Il Kook and his family.
Ryu Hyun Jin returned to Korea on October 14 after wrapping up his major-league season. An insider shared, "He decided to appear on only one variety show during his stay in Korea, and he chose 'Superman is Back'."
