Body image is always a problem no matter the country, so it comes as no surprise that the MCs of SBS's 'Magic Eye', including one of Korea's biggest divas herself, Lee Hyori, discussed this topic on this week's episode.
She said, "There are too many people around us who worry over maintaining their diet and appearance. Celebrities are also greatly to blame for ordinary people's obsession with appearance."

Hong Suk Chun pointed out that Lee Hyori was surely one of the celebrities who greatly affected body image: "Don't you feel a responsibility because all the women want to be you?"
Lee Hyori said, "When you do photo shoots, you know they edit it a lot, especially in the summertime," and talked about how they stretch out some parts like her legs. She continued, "In the past, I shot an underwear photo shoot wearing a bra and underwear while sitting at a desk, and a housewife of the same age, around 36, left a comment. She wrote, 'I'm jealous because her belly fat doesn't fold even when she's sitting. I'm so concerned over my belly fat, and I really want to die.' After seeing that comment, I felt like I had been irresponsible as a celebrity, so I called up the photographer, asked for the picture before editing, received it, then wanted to post it up. The problem wasn't my belly fat - it was that my legs were so short! So I couldn't make myself post it," which made everybody laugh.
She added that it wouldn't have been good for the underwear company either. In the end, Lee Hyori realized she did not yet have the bravery to post such pictures up, but Henry complimented her on the thought itself.
