The Korean Red Cross revealed on the 29th, "Jun Ji Hyun donated 100 million KRW (~97,000 USD) to the Sewol victims and bereaved families." Jun Ji Hyun donated the amount under her real name Wang Ji Hyun on the 29th.
A source close to Jun Ji Hyun stated, "Jun Ji Hyun's heart became numb whenever she would hear news about the students who lost their lives due to the Sewol accident and the stories of the mournful bereaved families... She hopes that the remaining families don't lose hope. Although it's coming from a small heart, she wants to share in the pain with the victims' families."
