The Hong Kong semi-finals for the 2013 K-Pop Cover Dance Competition took place last week, bringing forth dozens of talented dancers and K-Pop fans in a fun and thrilling battle of the best K-Pop covers!
Although a total of 16 teams participated, two were given the chance to travel to the coveted finals in Korea. Teams HONG KONG POP, who covered BoA's "Only One", and ESTA & KAYAN, who performed Taeyang's "I Need A Girl", were selected as the top two acts to represent Hong Kong.
Of particular note was competitor Charlotte, who was a part of the winning HONG KONG POP team -- at only four years old!
Multitudes of celebrities were also present, including a special guest performance from Hong Kong artists such as Terry Zou and Snazz Det, as well as the appearance of famous radio DJ Barry Ip. K-Pop celebrities were also on hand with the arrival of miss A's Min as one of the judges!
The finalists will get to travel to Korea in October for sightseeing and tourism, as well as the final round of the competition!
