As previously announced, the Gayo Daejun will be done under the theme of 'The Color of K-Pop' this year featuring four project teams representing the colors dynamic black, dramatic blue, dazzling red, and mystic white. The teams have paired up with producers Shinsadong Tiger, Sweetune,Brave Brothers, and Kim Do Hoon to perform new songs produced just for the ceremony.

For the boys, Dynamic Black will be made up of Kikwang, Jinwoon, Hoya, Lee Joon, and L.Joe, while Dramatic Blue will consist of Yoseob, Jokwon, Woohyun, G.O, and Niel.

As for the girls, Dazzling Red consists of Nicole, Hyorin, Hyosung, HyunA, and Nana, while Mystic White will be Jiyoung, Bora, Sunhwa, Gayoon, and Lizzy.
