After eight years of giving happiness to viewers, MBC's 'Come to Play' came to an end without any proper farewell greetings.
The 413th episode which aired on December 24th marked the end of the long-running program. This episode was filmed prior to the show's abrupt cancellation and as a result, MCs Yoo Jae Suk and Kim Won Hee were not shown giving any farewell messages leaving many viewers without a sense of closure.
Towards the end of the final episode, a series of captured shots showing the MCs smiling and laughing were shown with a message stating, "Thank you all for your love and support of 'Come to Play' for the past 8 years", bringing the show to an end by thanking viewers.
According to AGB Nielson Media Research, the 'Come to Play' finale ended with a low 4.9% viewer rating. Meanwhile, competing programs KBS 2TV's 'Hello' and SBS' 'Healing Camp' garnered 12.4% and 8.4% viewer ratings this week, respectively.
