Woori discussed the hardships that Rainbow has faced as a girl group.
Woori was the first girl group member to participate in SBS' 'Laws of the Jungle' series, which ran an all-female Chuseok special. Though viewers noted that she seemed to be a natural at dealing with bats and bugs, she revealed she had to work hard to get through it.
On the October 5th episode of SBS' "Go Show", she revealed, "Rainbow debuted more than 3 years ago, but we haven't been 1st [on music programs] yet. We had monetary problems for 3 years as well. Rainbow members still use the subway."
When asked why she participated in 'Law of the Jungle W', Woori explained, "To me, the jungle was not a challenge, but an opportunity. I thought I had to do it when they recruited me, and I worked very hard." Shin Bong Sun added, "Woori caught bats like it was no big deal. I thought, she was just normally good at [things like that], but later I found that she was scared of insects more than anyone else. She just caught them for the sake of Rainbow."
Woori further revealed that even though she hated bugs, she figured that since the 'Laws of the Jungle' team was made up of women, there would be someone else that would be too. She wanted to avoid that and show a strong side of herself, so she even studied bugs beforehand. Her hard effort paid off as she was able to deal with insects without a single shriek, gaining the attention of the viewers.
