Actor Lee Jun Ki has been absorbed in books as his character on the set of MBC's new drama 'Arang and the Magistrate'.

On August 3rd, several still cuts from the drama were revealed, many of them featuring the actor reading intently as his character. Even when the cameras were off, it was revealed that Lee Jun Ki continued to read on set, showing the camera staff his own interest in books. The staff also revealed that the actor had been filming all night, but still showed his passion for acting, keeping the atmosphere on set lively, even after a tiring night.

'Arang and the Magistrate' is based off a folk tale of the same name and follows the story of a ghost who tries to figure out how she died. The drama will featured other well-known actors like Shin Min�Ah, Yoo Seung Ho, and more.

The pilot episode of 'Arang and the Magistrate' will air on August 15th.
