Kim C will finally be wrapping up his solo promotions and returning to his band, Hot Potato, for a comeback in October.
This will mark the group's first comeback in nearly two years since Kim C left to study in Germany last year. He's since released his first solo album in March with a focus on electronic music, but is now ready to get back to the roots of Hot Potato with a new album.
Representatives revealed on June 27th, "Kim C started planning for the new album last week. He'll be focusing on the album all summer long and has scheduled the album's release for October."
Although he earned widespread popularity through KBS' '1 Night 2 Days', he boldly left the variety show for Germany, where he spent 15 months studying and finding new musical inspiration.
For those unfamiliar with the band, Hot Potato released their mini-album 'Seesaw' in 2010 and had their track "Confession" go on to be a hit. At the Korean Pop Music Awards in 2011, the group also won the 'Song of the Year' award.
