KBS labor strike puts programs at a standstill

Due to the labor strike that went in effect yesterday, KBS's programs have been put under an emergency state. Fortunately for fans, 'Music Bank' already completed their pre-recording last week so an episode will be airing this week. However, they revealed that their January 6th broadcast will be a problem, as they cannot continue in live or pre-recorded format following the labor strike. As reported earlier, 'Immortal Song 2' completed their rehearsal but had to halt right before the recording on December 19th. Everyone on set were sent home following the announcement of the labor strike. Whether or not they can broadcast with the few footage they have on December 31st remains up in the air. 'Gag Concert' has no footage on hand, making it likely that they will cancel the broadcast altogether. If a recording does not proceed on the 21st, they will not be able to broadcast anything on the 25th. A representative stated, "We cannot predict when the labor strike will end. This will greatly affect the future episodes of our shows." Source + Photos: Review Star via Naver
