DJ DOC's Lee Haneul and Kim Chang Ryul who have been sued by former member Park Jung Hwan have publicly expressed their regret and have agreed to comply with police investigations. A representative for DJ DOC informed StarIn on the 15th, "The member maintained a good relationship but that's no longer the case. They want to settle this and will comply with police investigations without reporting official statements or needing to come face to face with one another." They continued, "They're refraining from getting upset over the lawsuit and defending their case, because honestly the members are hurt and feel like they've lost a friend, and simply want to make this as easy as possible for Park Jung Hwan." Kim Chang Ryul and Lee Haneul came on SBS Power FM 'Kim Chang Ryul's Old School' and remarked, "We weren't trying to intentionally ridicule him. We were just trying to make the story more interesting and it came out wrong. We apologize for what happened". They went on to say, "We talked to him after the show was over, so we didn't think he was upset by what we said. We made a mistake. We're really sorry, and hope we can amicably resolve this. We want to maintain a good relationship with him." Former DJ DOC member Park Jung Hwan recently filed a lawsuit at the Seoul YoungdeungPo Police Station against Lee Haneul and Kim Changryul for comments they made during a recent broadcast of KBS 2TV 'Happy Together 3'. Park felt attacked when Lee Haneul and Kim Chang Ryul remarked that he was cut from the group for being "rhythmically challenged". Park Jung Hwan debuted with DJ DOC for the first album in 1994, but was later replaced by Jung Jae Yong from the second album onward. Representative Shin who produced DJ DOC's first and second album stated during an interview, "There was some discord among the members regarding the leader position. Lee Haneul also made some comments back then about how Jung Hwan was rhythmically challenged and that he had lied about his age. The relationships among the members got so bad to the point where I felt really bad towards Jung Hwan but we had no choice but to let him go." Source & Image : SPN via Nate
