Brian Joo is getting quite a bit of attention for unveiling a picture of him sobbing while wearing a mask that covers half his face a la Phantom of the Opera. The picture is reportedly one of the concept pictures for his new mini album, which is going to be released on April 7th. Unlike his usual bright image, the singer seems to be sobbing hard. Netizens commented, "After staring at the photo for a long time, I finally noticed it was Brian", "This is so different from what you've showed us before", and�"I wonder what concept this is." His agency, Jellyfish Entertainment, stated, "We wanted to show that Brian has other sides to him apart from his bright image, such as feeling sadness and pain.
