With their second Japanese single "Gee" priming to take Japan by storm in less than a week, the girls of Shoujo Jidai (SNSD) are celebrating their latest success. Their debut Japanese single, "GENIE", has been certified 'Gold' by the RIAJ for shipping over 100,000 copies in the month of September. According to Oricon, the single has sold 88,735 copies so far, and is #62 on the year-end charts, which is up there with the likes of Namie Amuro ("Break It/Get Myself Back" at #63) and Koda Kumi ("Gossip Candy" at #64)! The Oricon year still has a few weeks to go, so this isn't their final position - but fear not, SNSD fans!
