As a guest on YTN's News and Issue, singer Wheesung has recently sparked some controversy with his comments on celebrities and relationships. While promoting his new album and discussing his career, reporters asked, "Do you have someone you love right now?" Seeming unprepared for the question, Wheesung answered, "I don't have anyone currently. With my new album and other activities, I am too busy and as you can see my skin is also really bad. I don't know if anyone would want to be in a relationship with me right now. Once some time clears up for me, I'll try to return with some good news." Continuing with the interview, the anchor then made a comment about how being a celebrity would make it harder to find love. Wheesung jumped in and stated, "If you're a celebrity, I don't think it's a good idea to have or be in a relationship. No matter what you try or do, you won't be able to have a comfortable relationship. Celebrities must first and foremost protect and share their love with their fans." No doubt that it's tough for celebrities to have relationships but some do work out and end in those happily ever after moments. Maybe Wheesung himself had too much heartbreak with his relationships?
