Second place for the guys went to 2PM because they definitely made their name known in 2009. Third place was Yoo Jae Suk and fourth, Kang Ho Dong. SNSD received first place because they owned the first half of 2009 with Gee. Tell Me Your Wish received a lot of love as well and they claimed territory in the variety program, radio, and music fields. Yuri commented, "This year, SNSD spread its wings." Queen SeonDuk's Go Hyun Jung took second place and Kim Yuna got third. Rookie group 2NE1 was in fourth and Brown Eyed Girls were fifth in line.
