Super Junior, Super Show II, Seoul, July 17-19, 2009. If I posted everything that happened over the course of the three-night concert, this article would be longer than Heechul's old hairdo, so I tried to strip everything down to the bare essentials. I bet if I replaced the word "everything" with "Siwon" in the previous sentence, y'all would be a lot more excited about this article. Even though I will not cover many of the events/performances that occurred during the Super Junior Seoul bonanza, it'll still be extremely lengthy, so prepare yourself for a whole lotta' SuJu, and a whole lotta' nausea from fuzzy fancams. So for the kickoff concerts for Super Junior's 2nd Asian Tour, a couple of ELFs showed up, as did twelve hot guys (Kibum did not participate due to injury): The hotties introduced themselves with some dance bits, Video Credit: ManiwhoamI instantly impregnating half of the crowd. Then, the real fun started - here are the highlights: Korea's largest boy group did a cover of a song by Korea's largest girl group, as Super Junior covered SNSD's "Gee": Video Credit: YoDubu02 http://static.allkpop.com/uploads/old/2009_stories/20090719_suju_supershow_pic1_tb.jpg Of course, the whole thing was Heechul's idea. It turns out he even held auditions in order to cut down Super Junior's twelve to SNSD's nine, and made each auditioning member answer the question "What is the point of your part of the performance?" Even if you do not enjoy Heechul's gender&sexuality-crossing habits, you can't deny that the man has drive. You also cannot deny that the man has influence. I mean, he even has guys taking off their pants: Video Credit: mspig127 and gyrating with each other on stage: Video Credit: EuNteUkseasoon1 Mmmm... fanservice. Super Junior also performed their own songs, including two awesome remixes of hit single "Sorry Sorry", the first featuring it's composer, Yoo Young Jin: Video Credit: Sup3rJunior (kudos to °° haelimm for the tip) and the second an extended version: Video Credit: Sup3rJunior Both are hot tracks, and many are hoping that SM will release official versions sometime in the near future. Besides performing altogether, the members also had solo performances, including Eeteuk's cover of JYP's "Honey" Video Credit: EuNteUkseasoon1 and Ryeowook's surprisingly seductive cover of Craig David's "Insomnia". I can't say I've seen this side of Wookie before. Video Credit: uketsu Donghae, meanwhile, performed a self-composed, self-written song called "Beautiful", and the track sounds tight even through the fuzzy audio quality, so I can't wait to hear to full version: Video Credit: pwincesz02 So there you have it. Three days, three concerts, three bajillion satisfied ELFs. Super Junior put on quite a show for Seoul, leaving heightened expectations for the rest of their 2nd Asia Tour.
