Summer time is busy time in K-Pop land. This week's edition of Music Bank exemplifies that statement, as there were three comebacks and one debut performance. MC Mong, Clazziquai Project, and F.T. Island made their Music Bank comebacks (check out AllroyHavok's article), while T-Max and F4 member Kim Joon made his solo Music Bank debut. MC Mong: "Luv D.N.A." and "Indian Boy" Now, I love MC Mong and his kooky songs, but I can't say I love watching his "Indian Boy" concept, as it just reminds me how behind Korea is in racial matters, no matter what his actual intent may be. Seeing B.I. (the little kid who features in the song and MV) was fun though. Clazziquai Project: "Love Again" Alex is an absolute hunk, both he and [edit:] Boram Horan (apologies for the double typo) have sweet silky voices, and did I mention Alex is a hunk-a-doodle-doo? I'll add a shameless Clazziquai plug, just for kicks: "Tell Yourself" off of Clazziquai's new Korean album "Mucho Punk" is one of my favorite songs of 2009. Kim Joon: "Ready(준비) Ok" I'm too used to laughing at Kim Joon's hilarious "Yo-yo, what up" faux-gangster speak on Boys Over Flowers, so it's kind of surreal to see the guy being legitimately cool. Tight performance, and it looks like the oft-forgotten F4 member just might receive some love of his own. Kudos to CodeMonmonSeason2 for all the videos
