As they did with their M! Countdown comeback performance, F.T. Island performed their songs ‘Bing Bing Bing’ and ‘I Hope’ for their KBS2TV Music Bank comeback. F.T. Island performed a shortened version of their happy-go-lucky sounding song ‘Bing Bing Bing’ first, followed by the full version of ‘I Hope.’ Check it out. YouTube credit: CodeMonmonSeason2 In my opinion, I Hope sounds more like F.T. Island’s past songs and Bing Bing Bing sounds a little different from what they usually do. Fans of F.T. Island have even commented that it looks kind of weird seeing Hong Gi smiling on stage while singing when he performs Bing Bing Bing. Even though they enjoy seeing Hong Gi and the rest of the band smiling and happy on stage, F.T. Island fans are more accustomed to seeing Hong Gi sing sadder and/or serious songs that leave him and the whole band with a passionate or somber look on their faces. Either way Hong Gi is a great singer but I think his best performances are when he sings F.T. Island’s more angst ridden songs.
