BoA rose to the Top 10 on the “Hot Dance Club Play” music charts by Billboard magazine, a chart that ranks the most popular songs played in dance clubs throughout the country. She ranked 8th, beating Beyonce’s “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” which placed 9th. That’s a jump of 4 spots from last week alone. BoA’s single has risen steadily to the top, initially having placed no.42 in November 2008. Although it IS sad to see that the picture of the album cover is missing on the charts. Anyway, unlike other Korean artists who tried to make in big in America only to be completely forgotten about by Korean fans, BoA seems to know what she’s doing. For a moment I was afraid I was going to see her career go down the toilet. But I think it’s now fair to say, she’s done very well so far, and her future in America doesn’t look too shabby. Way to go, BoA!
