Singer/actor Yang Dong Geun went into ninja-mode and sneakingly enlisted in the army on the 6th of the month. Pictures of Yang in his new environment were released, and unlike the big scenes other male celebrities have made in the past about not wanting to go to the army. For Yang, it looks like the army wasn't too bad of a place to go to. The photos show Yang smiling with his fellow soldiers as well as a photo of him being taught by other generals. The only others that knew of Yang's enlistment was his management team. His management team issued this statement, "Because of the date of his enlistment, he canceled his appearance in the upcoming horror flick '이탈'. He had some back problems and was getting medical treatment for a while. After being told that he was going to be okay, he threw on his uniform and was ready to go." Again, unlike some whiny celebrities, Yang didn't seem the slightest bit worried about leaving his family, friends, and fans. "I think it'll be a fun experience; I'm excited," stated Yang. Although he might have felt a bit lonely having to leave without any flashing cameras and without much fanfare, at least he enlisted without fleeing like Yoo Seung Joon.
